Tiffany Deater is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Film & Literature. She works as an independent filmmaker creating wildlife documentaries and experimental videos. Her works have screened internationally at various film festivals and art exhibitions. She has won multiple awards for her film work, including the Best Short Film Award at the Wildlife Conservation Film Festival in NYC, Best Experimental Film, The NEXT International Short Film Festival and Excellence in Research, Nature Without Borders International Film Festival.
Jarrod Hagadorn is an Instructor in Cinema & Screen Studies as well as a biologist-filmmaker and video game creator. He teaches courses in environmental humanities and visual media, video game narratives, film production, and environmental filmmaking. His film works have won multiple awards and have showcased on Discovery Channel’s Daily Planet. His video game work includes translating authors such as Aldo Leopold into playable experiences.
